The Common Cents Conference is led by free tax preparation and asset building coalitions from Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia and West Virginia who have come together to plan this regional conference. The Common Cents Conference is designed to include all types of practitioners that care about helping working families earn, keep, and save their money. This conference is an opportunity to learn about the financial problems facing residents and innovative program models to help residents achieve all their financial dreams. The 2010 conference will be held August 31st - September 1st at the DoubleTree Hotel in Bethesda, MD.

The one and half day agenda will showcase the unique financial issues and programs that exist in the region. There will also be specific time set aside for local groups to strategize for next year. We have brought together some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the field of family financial stability to create a conference that comprehensively addresses free tax preparation and beyond!
