The Common Cents Conference was planned by free tax preparation coalition members in Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia who have come together to plan the first ever regional conference in the area. This will be a regional conference that includes all of those who care about helping working families earn, keep, and save their money. This conference is an opportunity to learn about the financial problems facing residents and innovative program models to help residents achieve all their financial dreams.

The one and half day agenda will showcase the unique financial issues and programs that exist in the region. There will also be specific time set aside for local groups to strategize for next year. We have brought together some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the field of family financial stability to create a conference that comprehensively addresses free tax preparation and beyond!
